The Standard Classical Mat Teacher Training is an immersive certification experience designed for aspiring Pilates instructors who want to build a strong classical foundation while developing the confidence to teach with clarity, professionalism, and purpose.

More than a certification, this program combines comprehensive education, guided implementation, professional assessment, and career development to prepare you for life beyond graduation.

Investment: $2,500

Instruction: 34 Hours

Format: Two Immersion Weekends + Independent Practice + Certification Assessment + Career Launch

Phase One: Immersion Weekend I

Saturday & Sunday | 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM ET

Build your classical foundation through hands-on instruction, discussion, and movement.

Topics include:

• The principles of Classical Pilates

• Exercise order and purpose

• Technique and execution

• Cueing fundamentals

• Teaching methodology

• Movement analysis

Phase Two: Immersion Weekend II

Saturday & Sunday | 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM ET

Shift from learning the exercises to learning how to teach them with confidence.

Topics include:

• Class programming

• Teaching progressions

• Client communication

• Observation skills

• Practice teaching

• Instructor feedback

• Certification preparation

Phase Three: Guided Independent Practice

Following the immersion weekends, you'll enter an independent practice period designed to help you integrate what you've learned before your certification assessment.

During this phase you'll receive:

• Practice assignments

• Teaching checklists

• Self-assessment tools

• One live virtual Office Hours session for questions and coaching

Phase Four: Certification Assessment

When you're ready, you'll schedule your final assessment.

Your certification assessment includes:

• Practical teaching examination

• Written assessment

• Individual instructor feedback

Upon successful completion, you'll earn your Standard Classical Mat Teacher Training Certification.

Phase Five: Career Launch Session

Certification is only the beginning.

Within two weeks of passing your assessment, you'll participate in a private Career Launch Session designed to help you confidently step into the industry.

Together we'll cover:

• Professional instructor résumé review

• Instructor biography review

• Studio audition preparation

• Pricing and career guidance

• Personalized action plan for your first 90 days as an instructor
